Job summary

Horizon Next, part of Horizon Media, is seeking a highly motivated leader to elevate and maintain our marketing analytics offering within the Advanced Analytics team to serve our fast-growing client base. The Director will manage a team, develop statistical models, and work with clients, BI, and Data Engineering to drive media optimization and ROI.

Strong Python/R/SQL skills and experience with marketing mix models are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mathematical or quantitative discipline with 5+ years in analytics at an agency or consultancy.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL; experience with DTC and data-heavy clients.
• Ability to develop proprietary statistical models and conduct marketing mix analyses.
• Experience managing 2–3 junior analytics staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing analytics team.
• Develop models for media optimization and client ROI.
• Collaborate with client teams to understand challenges and plan solutions.
• Ensure automated data processes with BI and Data Engineering teams.
• Build marketing mix modeling and test designs.
• Report to VP, Advanced Analytics with dotted line to client vertical.
