SALT is partnering with an award-winning social-first agency to find a Senior Data Strategist who thrives at the intersection of data, storytelling, and social media strategy.

In this role, you’ll turn performance metrics and social listening insights into compelling strategies that drive cultural impact and measurable results. If you’re someone who loves digging into data, spotting emerging trends, and translating complexity into clear narratives — we want to hear from you.

What you'll do:

• Lead data analysis that fuels social strategies for major consumer brands (e-commerce & retail focus)
• Deliver actionable insights through social listening, competitive research, and performance reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional creative and media teams
• Stay ahead of digital trends and emerging technologies (AI, automation, etc.)
• Present findings to internal teams and clients in clear, compelling ways.

What we're looking for:

• 6+ years of experience in social media strategy for e-commerce/retail brands
• Hands-on expertise with social listening tools (Netbase, Brandwatch, etc.)
• Strong understanding of platform-native analytics, Google Analytics, and reporting dashboards (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and deck development skills
• A naturally curious, proactive, and collaborative mindset

This is a remote position open to candidates across the U.S. (PST/CST preferred)
