You will influence purchasing decisions, optimize supplier performance, mitigate risk, and help shape sourcing strategies that support growth while ensuring compliance and value.

Based in the US, the role requires a 5+ year track record in strategic sourcing within global organizations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within multinational organizations.
• Proven success leading sourcing events, negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret spend data and supplier metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with procurement technologies and eSourcing platforms, preferably Coupa.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead sourcing events including RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, and competitive bidding.
• Conduct market research, supplier assessments, and benchmarking to inform decisions.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and present recommendations to decision-makers.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to drive performance and innovation.
• Negotiate contracts to secure value, service levels, and quality.
• Manage contract lifecycle activities including drafting, execution, renewals, and amendments.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and business teams to manage risks.
• Ensure procurement policy compliance and governance.
• Support category strategy development and execution.
• Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost reductions and process improvements.
• Mentor procurement team members on sourcing methodologies.
• Drive procurement process improvements and maintain documentation.
• Contribute to team and organizational objectives through key performance indicators.
