Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category development, supplier selection, and sourcing execution across the United States in a remote role. You must be available to work CST or PST hours and partner with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders.

You will develop category plans, drive cost savings, lead RFx events, monitor supplier performance, and secure favorable terms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Procurement/Sourcing, incl. 6+ years for tech services.
• BA/BS in Business Admin, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Experience eSourcing and spend analytics tools.
• Proficient with Excel and Google Suite.
• Experience with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.
• Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies to negotiate cost savings and performance targets.
• Establish and lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute supplier initiatives.
• Develop analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs to monitor progress.
• Provide cross-functional visibility into supplier spend and performance.
• Support RFx efforts by leading project teams through supplier selection processes.
• Partner with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance in source-to-pay processes.
• Manage strategic procurement engagement with one or more key business units.
