Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category development, supplier engagement, and sourcing execution with internal customers and cross-functional partners. This remote role supports applicants across the United States and requires availability for CST or PST hours.

You will develop category management plans, lead supplier initiatives, and drive value while managing RFx processes and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, including 6+ years in sourcing software and complex tech services.
• BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience eSourcing and spending analytics tools including Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, or similar.
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and performance targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define business requirements and execute supplier initiatives.
• Create analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs to monitor progress.
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance across the organization.
• Support RFx efforts by guiding project teams through supplier selection processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance to manage source-to-pay workflows.
• Manage strategic procurement engagement with key business units.
