Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive category development, strategic procurement engagement, and sourcing execution with internal clients and cross-functional stakeholders. You will lead supplier selection, lifecycle management, and risk mitigation while delivering value.

This remote role supports CST/PST hours and nationwide applicants in the United States. The role requires 10+ years in procurement/sourcing, including 6+ years in sourcing software and tech

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, including 6+ years in sourcing software & tech services.
• BA/BS in Business Admin, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Experience with eSourcing & spending analytics tools (Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua) and strong Excel & Google Suite.
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.
• Proficiency with services/technology governing documents & contract management.

Responsibilities

• Develop category management plans and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings & performance targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define business requirements and supplier initiatives.
• Develop reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs to monitor progress.
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance across the organization.
• Support RFx efforts by guiding project teams through supplier selection.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance on source-to-pay processes.
• Manage procurement engagement with one or more business units.
