Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category development, procurement engagement, and sourcing execution with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders. Location is remote in the United States, with availability for CST or PST hours.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Procurement/Sourcing including 6+ years in software/technology services
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent
• Experience with eSourcing and spend analytics tools
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Category management plan development and execution
• Ability to lead complex sourcing events (RFP/RFI/RFQ)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute supplier initiatives
• Develop analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance
• Support RFx efforts and guide project teams through supplier selection
• Collaborate with Legal, Info Security, and Third-Party Governance
• Manage strategic procurement engagement with key business units
