Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Project Manager to lead both large and small initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic goals.

You will design plans, manage risks, ensure governance and timely delivery, and refine processes to boost efficiency across branding, marketing, and advertising programs. Qualifications include a Bachelor's or military background and at least 2 years of PM experience; Master’s preferred; PMP/Lean/Agile/Six Sigma certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of Project Management experience.
• Preferred: Master’s or MBA degree.
• Preferred: PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute large- and small-scale projects contributing to broader business initiatives.
• Design, develop, and adapt project plans in a fast-paced environment, revising requirements as needed to meet shifting goals.
• Ensure comprehensive project documentation and governance to proactively manage risks and guarantee on-time delivery.
• Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to align project execution with business intent.
• Serve as a strategic and tactical thought partner to project partners and cross-functional teams.
• Build relationships and communicate with, inform, align, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Implement frameworks and organization to manage work within complex workstreams.
• Refine workflows, templates, and project management tools to eliminate bottlenecks and improve creative output.
