Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Manager, Project Manager to drive strategy and execution for high-priority initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines and risks, and provide governance across key programs with senior leadership visibility.

You will oversee end-to-end program management within the Experience Platforms Top of House team, engaging stakeholders, guiding performance incentives, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience.
• At least 7 years of project management experience.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of Project Management experience preferred.
• 3+ years of People Management experience.
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience with software programs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex programs by providing strategic direction and tactical guidance to project teams, peers, and direct reports.
• Design, develop, and manage comprehensive project plans, adapting strategies to evolving business requirements.
• Ensure rigorous project documentation and governance to mitigate risk and ensure on-time delivery.
• Leverage problem-solving and influencing skills to align stakeholder goals with strategic intent.
• Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to drive successful deliverables.
