Job summary

EY is seeking a Strategic Procurement Advisor (SPA) to build and manage strategic relationships with client procurement teams, especially the CPO, to create revenue opportunities and expand EY’s market position. You will influence negotiations, guide term sheets, and train teams on procurement excellence while collaborating with P&CE and GCSPs to win complex engagements.

The role requires deep procurement expertise, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work across a global EY

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and business development.
• Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to lead high-stakes negotiations and maintain collaborative relationships with client Procurement teams.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and client relationship management.
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Science (BS) degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in consulting or advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PCE leaders and account managers to prioritize accounts and opportunities where SPA’s services can help to drive revenue and improve profitability through client procurement relationships.
• Leads negotiations to achieve revenue growth with new and existing client accounts; assess client procurement relationships using EY power map methodology and analyze terms.
• Provide strategic guidance to GCSPs and account managers before and during negotiations for favorable impact; advise on MSAs, rate cards, and provider programs.
• Coach and train P&CE teams and account members on procurement topics to expand EY’s audience education efforts.
• Direct internal training/workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams on procurement strategies and contract terms.
