Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to serve as a trusted finance voice to the CEO, CFO, and ExCo. You will translate plans into decision-ready insights, lead strategic option framing, and coach the FP&A team in advanced modelling and AI-enabled workflows.

You will drive monthly expense management, budgeting, forecasting, and governance improvements, partnering across Corporate Functions, Reinsurance and ACS to elevate analysis from reporting to advisory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics; professional qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance or related finance business partnering role.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and ExCo-level stakeholders in a complex, multi-entity group.
• Advanced modelling and scenario-forecasting skills with strong commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly expense management and reporting across the Group, partnering with ExCo and function leaders.
• Frame financial value drivers behind strategic choices and translate plans into funded options and actions.
• Turn budgets and forecasts into decision-ready commentary with clear explainers on impact.
• Develop and maintain expense dashboards, management reports, and KPI reporting; drive automation where possible.
