Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Team Lead to drive risk identification, measurement, and control across the organization. Based at CityScape, you will oversee the ERM program components, including RCSA, issue management, and GRC initiatives, guiding a team and partnering with second line functions.

You will develop reporting, training, and continuous improvement, champion a strong risk culture, review testing workpapers, and ensure conformance with policy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of controls testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Knowledge of COSO ERM Framework and Basel principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing engagements including test of design and operating effectiveness of documented controls, issue determination, workpaper completion, and reporting.
• Review testing workpapers to ensure conclusions and adherence to internal methodology.
• Prepare reports that summarize testing engagements, issues, and recommendations.
• Support leadership in enhancing Second Line of Defense Enterprise and Operational Risk Programs, including Controls Testing and Issue Management.
