UNC Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled, independent Senior Classification and Compensation Consultant to lead complex compensation initiatives across the university.

You will independently evaluate position classifications, determine FLSA and SHRA/EHRA exemption statuses, perform market and internal equity reviews, and provide organizational design recommendations while mentoring fellow HR teammates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and classify complex positions to determine FLSA and EHRA/SHRA exemption statuses
• Perform market and internal equity reviews to ensure fair compensation
• Provide organizational design recommendations based on job analysis
• Serve as trusted advisor to administrators, faculty and HR partners on job design and compensation
• Mentor and support fellow team members in compensation practices
