The role focuses on ensuring fair, equitable pay practices across departments, partnering with administrators and HR partners to optimize job design, and maintaining compliance with FLSA and state regulations. 40-hour work week, on-site at King Building.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in HR or Business with 5+ years in compensation analysis.
Technical & Market Expertise: Experience with compensation software, HRIS, salary benchmarking and market pricing.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, advanced Excel.
Communication & Business Impact: Strong communication and customer service, translate data into actions.

Responsibilities

Performs market and equity analysis of positions to assess salaries.
Analyzes market data to update ranges and compensation administration.
Conducts job analysis, determines classifications and salary ranges, advises on exemptions.
Advises campus on compensation matters and provides guidance on position design.
Ensures compliance with compensation laws and prepares reports.
Supports annual raise process, salary surveys, and UNC System reporting.
