Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. in Buford, GA is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support day-to-day client service, policy administration, renewals, and retention for Construction/Contractors accounts.

Multiple experience levels are considered (Account Manager to Senior Account Executive) with a client-centered service mindset. The role requires 3+ years of account management or 5+ years in insurance, plus an active P&C license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client Service & Account Administration: Respond to client service requests; process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support; conduct coverage analysis; maintain positive client relationships.
• Renewal & Retention Management: Manage policy expirations and renewal timelines; gather underwriting information; prepare renewal submissions; support renewal marketing and proposals.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain agency management systems; ensure documentation is accurate; monitor tasks for timely completion; follow policies and compliance.
• Financial Management: Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection; resolve billing and payment issues.
• Professional Development: Maintain technical insurance knowledge; participate in continuous improvement; uphold company values and client service excellence.
