Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or closely related field.
  • Minimum three years of progressively responsible post-graduate experience in planning, design and construction of public works or utility projects.
  • PE license in Florida, CCM, PMP or GC license are preferred as noted in the job preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare designs, calculations, specifications, estimates, and technical reports for in-house projects.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and city staff from design through construction.
  • Monitor and direct work of consultants/contractors on stormwater and utility projects.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, including planning, design, permitting, construction management, and inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with NPDES, regulatory agencies, and city standards.
