Woolpert is seeking a Sr. Stormwater Site/Civil Engineer to join our Water Team in Virginia. The role supports stormwater, site civil, and regulatory design with leadership of junior staff, project delivery, and QA/QC across multiple states.

The candidate will manage phases, perform fieldwork, and interface with clients while ensuring compliance with local standards and zoning/NPDES permitting requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Biosystems, or related engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability and willingness to obtain PE licensure in additional states.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support phases of Site/Civil projects for energy clients in Virginia, focusing on stormwater and erosion control design and permitting.
• Design stormwater and erosion control to meet regulatory requirements.
• Prepare permitting documents for zoning and NPDES stormwater permits.
• Lead junior team members to deliver scope-aligned work on time and within budget.
• Perform QC on deliverables produced by junior staff.
• Manage project phases to ensure quality and deadlines.
• Conduct field work and participate in public meetings when needed.
• Analyze data and present findings to clients in clear formats.
• Communicate issues affecting phase, schedule, or budget to project leadership.
