Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Senior Stormwater Site/Civil Engineer to join our Water Team in Pennsylvania. You will collaborate on stormwater/site civil design, deliverables, and permitting for projects across PA, VA, and nationwide, guiding junior staff and ensuring QA/QC.

Ideal candidates have a PE license in PA or the ability to obtain within 3 months, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and hydraulic modeling. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Biosystems, or related engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to obtain PE licensure in additional states.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Proficient in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software (Hydraflow/HydroCad).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; client interface.

Responsibilities

• Support phases of Site/Civil projects for energy clients in Pennsylvania.
• Lead stormwater and erosion control design and permitting processes.
• Prepare permitting documents for zoning and NPDES stormwater approvals.
• Perform technical deliverables and QC with junior team members.
• Manage project phases, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct field work and participate in public meetings as needed.
• Analyze field data and model results for client presentations.
