Woolpert, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Team in Virginia. The role focuses on technical delivery across water resources design, drainage and utilities design, and data analytics, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, scheduling, and reporting for project phases.

The candidate will lead deliverables, manage project teams, and interact with clients to ensure high-quality outcomes while adhering to QA/QC standards. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Biosystems, or a related engineering program.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Willingness to perform technical tasks and mentor others.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; client interfacing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and interface with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support phases of water/wastewater/stormwater projects from client communications to deliverable generation.
• Lead a team of technical staff to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage project phases ensuring QA/QC compliant deliverables.
• Perform field work as needed.
• Analyze water quality data and present to clients clearly.
• Meet internal/external deadlines and escalate issues as needed.
• Support stormwater design projects considering regulations and standards.
• Interpret stormwater model results for project planning.
