Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of a high-volume store. You will mentor and coach a team, drive sales, and partner with merchandising and operations leaders to execute policies and store initiatives with integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and the ability to manage a multi-million-dollar operation while delivering a world-class shopping experience. Flexible schedule and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates.
• Ensure team fulfills individual responsibilities and adheres to policies.
• Coordinate merchandising, promotions and pricing with merchandising leadership.
• Oversee receiving, transfers, returns-to-vendor and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budget with reporting.
• Recruit, screen and hire store staff to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budgeting, workforce management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication across store, district and regional teams.
