Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to own storage infrastructure across on-prem and cloud, ensuring stability, performance, and resiliency. You will apply AI-assisted practices to automate and streamline operations while supporting end-to-end incident management and on-call readiness.

The role requires strong scripting, Linux fundamentals, and hands-on experience with major storage ecosystems, with a focus on secure, auditable change control and proactive improvements.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Experience using AI capabilities to support infrastructure workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Strong knowledge of storage concepts: RAID/erasure coding, replication, snapshots, IOPS and latency.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to storage infrastructure projects of moderate scope, ensuring monitoring, performance, and resilience.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate analysis, monitoring, and capacity documentation.
• Lead incident response for storage outages and drive root-cause analyses to reduce recurrence.
• Build automation for provisioning, patching, backup, restore, and compliance checks to reduce toil.
• Create runbooks, escalation paths, and standardized procedures for on-call readiness.
