Job summary

CB&I is seeking a Project Manager to lead project execution, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance. You will oversee diverse teams, manage contracts ranging up to $10 million, and maintain strong client relationships while mitigating risk across U.S. projects.

The role requires travel to various project sites, collaboration with operations, controls, and supply chain, and a solid engineering background. This position emphasizes leadership and business acumen.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• 3+ years in a Project Site Engineering or Construction Management role.
• Professional degree (Engineering or BS preferred).
• Leads projects with contract values up to $10 million.
• Broad knowledge of construction methods, engineering processes, and fabrication capabilities.
• Familiarity with estimating, supply chain, project controls, and contract management.
• Knowledge of commercial contracting and negotiation strategies.
• Familiarity with Energy & Construction Industry preferred.
• Primarily responsible for managing government and industrial storage product contracts.
• Travel is required across the United States for multiple projects.
• Prior knowledge of concrete elevated tanks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects in a single country or sub-region within a country.
• Oversee multiple small contracts or a single medium-sized project up to $10MM.
• Own bottom-line financial and technical project success.
• Maintain client relationships and protect the company from risks.
• Lead project resources and serve as the client communication focal point.
• Maintain formal project forecasts and Lessons Learned processes.
• Ensure compliance with contract, scope, and commercial terms.
• Travel to project sites for client meetings and site assessments.
• Manage change processes to mitigate risk and leverage commercial advantages.
• Represent the company at meetings and contribute during pre-contract efforts.
