Job summary

CB&I's Plainfield Illinois Engineering Center is seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering scope, provide leadership to discipline leads, and ensure integrity of work across schedule, cost, and quality. The role reports to the Manager of Engineering and interacts with clients and CB&I functions.

Qualifications include an accredited BS in engineering; PE registration preferred; 3+ years in large industrial projects.

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent.
• PE license preferred.
• 3+ years of project engineering in large industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and coordinates the engineering and design discipline leads on an assigned project.
• Lead execution of engineering deliverables including the engineering schedule, budget, document controls, and manpower staffing.
• Establishes project procedures to ensure deliverables meet client and engineering requirements.
• Ensures effective communications among the engineering disciplines.
• Reviews work with client, management, and functional leads.
