  • Familiarity with Energy & Construction Industry preferred.
  • Primarily responsible for managing government and industrial storage product contracts.
  • Travel is required across the United States for multiple projects.
  • Prior knowledge of concrete elevated tanks preferred.

Overview

CB&I Project Manager is responsible for all matters pertaining the execution of project(s) assigned in accordance with the contract terms and all Company HSSE, quality, execution and financial goals. This position is an individual contributor role typically reporting to the Director of Operations with responsibility, either through direct reporting oversight or in collaboration with Construction, Project Controls, Supply Chain, HR, HSE, and Finance management and staff.

Responsibilities
  • The CB&I Project Manager is responsible for managing projects in a single country or sub-region within a single country.
  • Project assignments may range in scope from managing multiple small (up to US$2MM) contracts to managing a single medium-sized (up to US$10MM) project.
  • This position has bottom-line responsibility for the financial and technical success of projects.
  • Primary responsibilities include complying with Company business and legal policies, maintaining client relationships, protecting the Company from unnecessary risks, managing project resources, providing overall leadership, and serving as a focal point for client communications.
  • Additional responsibilities include maintaining formal and accurate project forecasts, directing continuous improvement through a formal Lessons Learned program at the project level, and assuring the completion of internal and external project reports.
  • Must have a complete understanding of the contract agreement, project specifications, the "as-sold" scope of work, and contract commercial terms.
  • Establishes and communicates project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy.
  • Able to travel to project locations for client/customer meetings and site assessments.
  • Maintains robust management of change processes to mitigate risk and leverage commercial advantage.
  • Represents the Company and the project at all meetings.
  • Participates in the Commercial and Business Development process by providing operational input during the pre-contract effort.

  • Primarily responsible for managing government and industrial storage product contracts.
  • Travel is required due to the management of multiple projects in different phases and locations throughout the United States simultaneously.
  • Prior knowledge of concrete elevated tanks preferred.
