Stefanini Group is seeking a Senior Storage and Backup Engineer for a remote-capable role in a long-term contract. The position emphasizes storage hardware expertise, enterprise backup software, and strong automation skills to support critical financial applications.

The role requires experience with provisioning, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, and incident management in complex environments. On-call duties and change-control adherence are key aspects of the job.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3–5+ years in storage/backup engineering.
• Expert level Commvault experience with high-severity issue handling and backup strategy guidance.
• Hands-on enterprise storage operations including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Strong change management adherence and documentation skills.
• Experience with storage hardware platforms (Hitachi, Dell, etc.) and VMware environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical and production support for storage-related infrastructure and mission-critical applications.
• Perform storage and backup provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Document requirements and work with clients and senior engineers on storage requests.
• Implement upgrades and patches; remediate problems to maintain a stable environment.
• Participate in change control per client policies and support major infrastructure projects.
• Handle incident and problem management including on-call rotations and root cause analysis.
