Job summary

Full Visibility LLC seeks a Senior Storage Engineer to design and manage a petabyte-scale, multi-site storage environment for critical federal systems. You will own the storage lifecycle, from architecture to decommissioning, with 24/7 operations and strong autonomy, while supporting STIG and RMF/ATO needs.

The role involves implementing Dell EMC ECS, DataCore Swarm, VAST Data, and NetApp ONTAP across SAN/NAS, scripting with PowerShell/Bash, and leveraging Ansible for provisioning.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; must be able to obtain CI Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field with 6+ years of experience.
• Enterprise storage and infrastructure engineering experience in a production environment.
• Hands-on SAN, NAS, or object storage admin at enterprise scale.
• Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky) and Windows Server administration.
• Storage protocols: iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, and S3.
• PowerShell and Bash scripting; familiarity with Ansible or Puppet.
• Dell EMC ECS, DataCore Swarm, VAST Data, or NetApp ONTAP.
• Hyperconverged infrastructure (VxRail, VxFlex) and virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
• Spectra Logic tape and archive operations.
• STIG remediation and RMF/ATO support.
• Storage vendor management and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Own the full storage lifecycle — architecture, procurement, deployment, optimization, compliance, and decommissioning.
• Forecast growth and execute migrations, refreshes, and consolidations.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot object storage platforms (Dell EMC ECS, DataCore Swarm, VAST, NetApp ONTAP).
• Automate provisioning with Ansible; maintain firmware and OS patching.
• Support ATO activities through security justifications and documenting STIG findings.
