Ideal candidate has 10+ years in storage and data center engineering, DoD 8570.01-M IAT II (Security+), and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in storage engineering and data center operations.
• Experience with SAN/NAS and multiple storage vendors.
• Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong advisory and documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise storage environments.
• Develop and test robust disaster recovery and backup strategies (NetApp SRM, VMware).
• Monitor performance, enforce security/access controls, and ensure compliance with DoD standards.
• Collaborate with vendors for upgrades, patches, and technology evaluations.
• Provide IT advisory services to steer storage architecture improvements.
