Job summary

Oxbridge Health is seeking a Senior Manager for Stop-Loss Risk and Proposals to lead risk evaluation and the bid process for self-funded cases. You will guide case pricing, manage carrier quotes, and work with sales to maximize win rates.

You will collaborate with finance and actuarial teams to align pricing strategies with underwriting insights and market trends, while building scalable submission workflows.

Qualifications

• Stop-loss underwriting experience at a carrier, reinsurer, or MGU; support for RFPs, proposals, and quoting
• 7+ years of self-funded group health stop-loss experience on carrier or business side
• Knowledge of specific and aggregate stop-loss, and how cases are underwritten and priced
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Review incoming cases and assess risk before underwriting, including claims experience, census, and plan design.
• Advise sales leadership on how cases are viewed and priced by stop-loss carriers, and which cases to pursue.
• Own the RFP and proposal process for self-funded stop-loss cases, from intake through submission, quote, and follow-up.
• Build tools and repeatable processes behind submissions and quoting, and coach junior staff
