Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Central Service Technician certificate within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic processing preferred.
• Ability to operate sterilization equipment and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean and assemble medical instruments and supplies.
• Operate sterilizers (EtO, Steam Steris, Sterrad) and test equipment.
• Prepare, wrap, date and inspect instruments for sterilization.
• Deliver processed items to user departments and manage DME inventory.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safety and infection control standards.
