Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, package, sterilize, and distribute medical supplies. You will handle instrument processing, organize OR sets, and ensure equipment readiness for procedures.

Qualified candidates have at least two years in sterile processing, completion of an accredited program, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment. Evening/weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years' recent experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or equivalent in an acute hospital setting.
• Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing Program including 400 clinical hours or a Surgical Technician program.

Responsabilités

• Fill orders from requesting departments.
• Return soiled equipment to SPD and validate functionality before storage.
• Restock supplies and specialty carts as per policy.
• Disassemble, clean and decontaminate instruments per manufacturer guidelines.
• Assemble and inspect OR sets per department protocol.
