Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Sterile Processing professional to support the inventory, decontamination, inspection, maintenance and assembly of general and specialized surgical devices and reusable instruments. You will help ensure safe, organized access to essential equipment for surgical teams.

The role requires knowledge of infection control, adherence to safety policies and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience with CS, OR instrumentation reprocessing or related area.

Responsibilities

• Identify unsafe conditions/practice.
• Practice safety, infection control and employee health policies.
• Disassemble, clean, disinfect and sterilize reusable instruments and medical devices.
• Reassemble, inspect and test multi-part devices to ensure safe function.
• Deliver, pick up and receive reusable instruments and equipment.
• Assemble, package, process and store medical supplies and equipment.
