Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to provide sterilized instruments and supplies to the operating room and other areas of the hospital. You may serve as lead/charge on shift and assist in supervising colleagues, while adhering to safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities include assembling, inspecting, and preparing instruments, maintaining sterile processing records, and supporting team members to ensure timely, safe patient care.

Competenze

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required.
• CSIS or CIS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in sterilization of instruments.
• Ability to follow English instructions and basic math.
• Ability to lift/move supplies with teamwork.

Mansioni

• May serve as lead technician on shift when needed.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and processes.
• Prepare, inspect and assemble instruments for sterilization.
• Maintain records and monitor quality control and infection control standards.
• Communicate delays or issues to OR staff and other departments.
