Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Sterile Processing Instrument Technician Lead to oversee decontamination, processing and sterilization workflows. The role emphasizes following Manufacturer Instructions for Use and maintaining meticulous documentation.

The ideal candidate will have CRCST or CSPDT certification and hands-on Sterile Processing experience, with strong attention to safety, PPE usage, and cross-team communication in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• PPE use and safety policies required.
• Experience in Sterile Processing preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Clean instruments and equipment for decontamination, processing and sterilization.
• Inspect, assemble, and test instruments for High Level Disinfection.
• Maintain required documentation in logs or computer systems.
• Prioritize processing and dispatch of instrumentation and supplies.
• Follow Mercy policies and department procedures.
