Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to serve as an advanced technical resource in the Sterile Processing Department. The role involves reprocessing complex instrumentation, supporting staff training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will troubleshoot instrument workflows, monitor sterilization processes, and participate in quality assurance, process improvements, and implementation of new instrumentation and technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced knowledge of sterile processing workflows and instrumentation.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex instrument workflow issues.
• Experience with instrument tracking systems and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Independently reprocesses complex surgical instrumentation and specialty devices per IFU and standards.
• Serves as preceptor and technical resource for staff training on sterile processing practices.
• Performs sterilization monitoring, equipment testing, and QA activities per regulatory requirements.
• Supports regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and departmental improvement initiatives.
