Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) invites a detail‑oriented Sterile Processing Lead Technician to oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, trays, and equipment in a high‑volume SPD.

This role mentors staff, coordinates workflow, supports training programs, and ensures compliance with regulatory and hospital standards while maintaining quality, accuracy, and timely service across the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of high school or GED equivalency required.
• Must be certified and maintain a CRCST – HSPA or CBSPD certification.
• Minimum of two years of sterile processing experience, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of sterile processing operations.
• Ensure instruments, trays, and equipment are decontaminated, assembled, sterilized, and distributed per regulatory standards.
• Mentor and coordinate workflow; support training and quality assurance within the department.
