Job summary

Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is seeking a Sr. Sterile Processing Technician to maintain decontamination, assembly, inspection, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments for Surgical Services and ancillary departments.

You will work with OR staff to ensure timely sterile products, trays, and case carts while upholding excellent customer service. The role requires Sterile Processing certification (CRCST or CSPDT) and a focus on collaboration with the OR and Sterile Processing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of sterile processing experience required.
• Sterile Processing certification: CRCST or CSPDT required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, wrap, and sterilize instruments per SOPs.
• Maintain workflow between the OR and Sterile Processing.
• Ensure accurate instrument counts and proper packaging.
