Ohio State University seeks a Senior Instrumentation Coordinator for the Central Sterile Supply at University Hospital. This role coordinates the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to ensure sterilized instruments are available for surgeries and procedures, and acts as a clinical liaison across multiple sites within the enterprise.

The position supports rapid case cart assembly, decontamination, and high-level disinfection, while procuring and standardizing instrument trays enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years of experience as an instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST certification from IAHCSMM or CSPDT certification from CBSPD required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to optimize case flow.
• Oversee decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of reprocessed surgical inventory.
• Procure, standardize instrument trays and organize instrumentation enterprise-wide.
• Serve as clinical liaison between OR and CSS off-site location across multiple sites, 24/7.
