Job summary

BrightMeds is seeking an experienced sterile compounding pharmacist to help launch and scale a new 503A pharmacy in the Greater St. Louis area.

You will work closely with BrightMeds' founders, designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, pharmacy consultants, technology team, and other pharmacy personnel to develop the systems, workflows, quality standards, and team needed to serve patients responsibly. You will join early enough to influence important decisions, and you will not be expected to build the

Qualifications

• PharmD, BSPharm, or equivalent degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in at least one U.S. state
• Missouri pharmacist license or ability to obtain one before beginning on-site pharmacy work
• Direct experience working in a 503A sterile compounding pharmacy
• Strong working knowledge of USP <797> and applicable USP <800> requirements
• Practical experience with aseptic technique, sterile workflows, documentation, and quality-control procedures
• Experience following or helping improve sterile compounding SOPs and quality systems
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, communication, and professional judgment; on-site in Greater St. Louis area

Responsibilities

• Establish safe, compliant sterile compounding operations under USP <797> and applicable USP <800> requirements
• Develop, review, and improve standard operating procedures, batch records, training materials, and quality documentation
• Support personnel training, qualification, observation, and competency programs
• Oversee aseptic technique, environmental monitoring, cleaning, disinfecting, contamination control, and sterility-assurance practices
• Participate in deviation investigations, corrective and preventive actions, change control, complaints, recalls, and continuous quality improvement
• Maintain inspection and audit readiness
• Identify quality risks and recommend practical solutions before they become larger problems
