Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise sterile compounding in an ISO-classified cleanroom.

• Conduct staff training and competency assessments on sterile technique and cleanroom behavior.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on environmental monitoring, sterility testing, and documentation review.
• Maintain accurate batch records, formulations, and compounding logs.

Center City Pharmacy is a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy specializing in sterile and non-sterile preparations across multiple therapeutic areas. We are expanding our sterile operations and seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team and ensure the highest standards of aseptic technique, compliance, and quality assurance.

Compounding Pharmacist (Sterile)

The Compounding Pharmacist (Sterile) will be responsible for overseeing daily sterile compounding operations, ensuring all processes comply with USP <797> and <800> standards, and maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise sterile compounding in an ISO-classified cleanroom environment.
• Draft, revise, and maintain SOPs covering aseptic technique, gowning, cleaning, and environmental monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and state/federal regulations.
• Conduct staff training and competency assessments on sterile technique and cleanroom behavior.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on environmental monitoring, sterility testing, and documentation review.
• Maintain accurate batch records, formulations, and compounding logs.
• Participate in internal audits, inspections, and corrective action implementation.
