Job summary

Honda is seeking an experienced steering design engineer to design steering parts and systems that meet schedules while delivering performance, quality, and enjoyment to customers.

You will use CATIA V5/V6 and MS Office to release drawings, coordinate with design, test, factory, and suppliers, and lead meetings. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering and 3+ years of steering experience are required. Onsite work with potential for one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 3+ years automotive steering component and system design experience.
• Expert in CATIA V5/V6 and proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Design steering parts and systems to meet schedules with high performance and reliability.
• Confirm supplier designs and release 2D drawings and specs using CATIA & MS Office.
• Plan, coordinate, and track milestones with design, test, factory, and suppliers.
