Job summary

Pacific Fusion is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Steel Structures to lead procurement, contract management, installation, and commissioning of structural steel systems for fusion energy equipment. You will drive execution plans, manage multi-site fabrication, and coordinate with design, quality, and construction teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years in project engineering or industrial construction.
• Experience managing welded assemblies, structural steel, or industrial systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee heavy fabrication and steel structures scopes across suppliers and sites.
• Drive RFQs, scope alignment, bid reviews, and fabrication kickoff.
• Develop execution plans for engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection, and installation.
• Coordinate with design, supply chain, quality, construction, and leadership to keep critical path.
• Lead vendor engagement from pre-award through delivery and fabrication kickoff.
