Job summary

Talent Wave Associates is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead analysis, design, and technical support for industrial equipment and supporting structures. You will ensure safety and code-compliant designs while collaborating with multiple teams to uphold integrity of structural systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial structural engineering, proficiency with RISA-3D or STAAD.Pro, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience in industrial applications.
Active PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for industrial equipment and supporting structures.
Develop engineering calculations for structural elements including bridges, catwalks, and support beams.
Analyze structures for loads such as dead, live, wind, and seismic.
Determine load combinations based on codes and project requirements.
Conduct or coordinate Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as needed.
Collaborate with engineers and designers during development of structural drawings.
Review drawings for structural requirements and evaluate existing designs for modifications or repairs.
Provide engineering support to manufacturing and fabrication teams and assist sales with technical proposals.
