Job summary

Monroe Environmental is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead analysis, design, and technical support for industrial equipment and supporting structures. You will perform calculations, review drawings, and coordinate with project teams to ensure robust, compliant designs.

A PE license is preferred, with 5+ years' experience in industrial/manufacturing contexts. Proficiency with structural software and knowledge of AISC/ASCE standards are important for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil/Structural Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience, preferably with industrial/manufacturing projects.
• Active PE license preferred or ability to obtain/coordinate signed and sealed calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for industrial equipment and supporting structures.
• Develop engineering calculations for bridges, catwalks, beams, columns, bracing, anchor bolts, and base plates.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, designers, and shop personnel to review drawings and ensure code-compliant, safe designs.
