Job summary

ITAC is seeking a licensed structural engineer to join our Raleigh-area team. You will lead design and analysis of industrial facilities, review drawings, perform calculations, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on projects from steel to concrete structures.

Candidates should have a PE license, a Civil Engineering ABET-accredited degree, 5+ years in industrial settings, and proficiency with RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Requires PE license and ABET‑accredited degree.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, and masonry design.
• Experience developing designs from concept to construction documents.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA, Revit, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of industrial facilities (steel/concrete) and supports.
• Review shop drawings and provide construction support; respond to RFIs.
• Develop designs from concept through construction documents.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Travel for site visits within VA, NC, SC as needed.
