Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking an Engineer III, Controls Service – Steam Turbine in the United States. This advanced role focuses on steam turbine control logic, sequencing, protection interfaces, valves, instrumentation, HMIs, and field deployment of controls modifications to improve operability and safety.

You will lead analysis, contribute to outages and commissioning, develop control narratives, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with GT, BOP, and HRSG interfaces for integrated

Qualifications

• MS or BS in engineering or related field; 6+ years of related experience may substitute for degree.
• Strong knowledge of steam turbine controls, sequencing, protection interfaces, and instrumentation.
• Experience with control systems platforms and data analysis tools (PI, historian, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and enhancement of steam turbine control system operations.
• Provide field support during outages, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Develop functional logic descriptions and review design documents.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvements in control logic and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
