Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. (Mitsubishi Power) is seeking an Engineer III, Controls Service – Steam Turbine to lead and execute advanced controls service tasks for steam turbine systems.

The role covers control logic, sequencing, protection interfaces, instrumentation, HMIs, and field implementations to improve operability, reliability and safety. You will support integrated CC control interfaces with GT, BOP, and HRSG systems, mentor engineers, and interact with customers to deliver

Qualifications

• Requires MS or BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or Controls engineering.
• Minimum six years in industrial controls, turbine controls, commissioning or field service.
• Strong knowledge of steam turbine control systems, sequencing, protection interfaces and instrumentation.
• Experience with distributed control systems and HMIs; familiar with control software troubleshooting and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and enhancement of steam turbine control system operations and start-up/shutdown logic.
• Provide field support during outages, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting.
• Develop functional logic descriptions from P&IDs and system documents.
• Prepare design documents, control narratives, and commissioning support materials.
• Analyze plant data to identify abnormal operation and suggest control enhancements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement control system changes.
