Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development and clinical studies within a regulated healthcare environment. You will design studies, develop analysis plans, analyze data, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams.

The role requires programming in R and/or SAS, preparing technical reports, and ensuring quality, regulatory, and business objectives are met. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environment.
• Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating statistical analyses using R and/or SAS.
• Experience independently solving statistical and analytical challenges.
• Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with technical report writing and presentation of statistical findings.
• Experience in stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies to support product development and business decisions.
• Contribute to study protocols, CRFs, and regulatory documentation.
• Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans; consult for non-routine situations as needed.
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS.
