Job summary

Highmark Health's Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Stationary Engineer to monitor, maintain and repair the campus boiler system and related plant equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance on steam boilers, cooling towers and plant chillers, supervise Stationary Engineers and Maintenance Mechanics, and respond to service calls. Off-shift work and collaboration with contractors are required.

Qualifications

• Requires City of Pittsburgh Stationary Engineer license and 4+ years’ experience with water-tube boilers and related equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Available to work off-shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and repair campus boiler system and plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on steam boilers, cooling towers, plant chillers and related systems.
• Supervise Stationary Engineers and Maintenance Mechanics.
• Respond to service and emergency calls and coordinate off-shift work.
• Maintain medical gas and pneumatic tube systems; coordinate external contractors.
