Job summary

Regions Hospital seeks a Stationary Engineer to manage boiler plant operations and related equipment to deliver steam and chilled water to the hospital. You will maintain energy efficiency through preventive maintenance and water treatment, while documenting usage for budgets.

The role requires licensing and driving credentials, with a schedule on the 3PM–11PM evening shift and rotating days off. The hospital offers a competitive benefits package and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience qualifying for 1st class B engineer's licensure OR completion of operating engineer technical college apprenticeship program.
• Must possess a First Class license (B or A) or Chief B/A and a Minnesota Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate boilers and plant equipment to provide steam and chilled water for the hospital and buildings.
• Perform preventive maintenance, water treatment, and routine inspections to minimize energy losses and major repairs.
• Record equipment usage and production for reference and budget reports.
• Operate district heating heat exchangers when applicable and keep boiler spaces clean.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
