Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC credentials required by the PWS: NATE HVAC Service Technician, HVAC Excellence Professional Level, or UA Star HVAC Mastery certification.
• EPA Section 608 certification is required when assigned work could release regulated refrigerants.
• All licenses and certificates required by applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictions; site orientation and annual refresher training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain one or more facility systems providing heat, air conditioning, refrigeration, steam or electricity.
• Monitor gauges, meters, alarms, and control-system data; interpret and respond to conditions.
• Adjust controls to ensure safe, efficient performance and meet service demands.
• Maintain accurate operating logs and document readings, inspections, maintenance actions, and system status.
• Inspect engines, machinery, controls, and related equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions and keep systems in good order.
